Like most family businesses in Houston, TX, and across the USA, LS Ready Mix began out of a desire to fulfill a need, and to help people. In our case, we started in 2012 by providing a service, specifically, making deliveries of ready mix concrete and aggregate to local contractors building parking lots, shopping centers, and walkways. Eventually, we got tired of long waits at third-party batch plants and contractors’ complaints about inconsistent quality and high prices. This led to our next revelation and current incarnation of having our own concrete batch plant. We also welcome independent mixers, and drivers to pick up from our plant

In 2018, it hit us: by opening our own concrete batch plant, we could eliminate the middleman and take ownership of our product.
